This position will serve as the Activities Assistant for all residents and participants at the ALF.
With this position you will eventually have a chance to a activities director position.
Daily Tasks:
Develops individual and group activities for residents which are adequate and congruent for the ALF's demographic.
Reports to Activities Director.
Coordinates transportation for resident's community and cultural events.
Schedules special field trips for the residents outside of the facility.
Coordinate parties and functions for the facility and the residents.
Creates and post monthly calendar and news letter.
Recognizes all resident's birthdays.
Attend all scheduled meetings Schedules and attends Holiday events.
Decorates the facility for holidays.
Works closely with third party entertainers, vendors, and volunteers.
Must be comfortable with memory care residents.
Must have an interest in doing crafts, games, and taking residents for walks.
